To provide an environment of close relationships where each person can grow in Christ and learn to care for one another, resulting in the growth of the group and the willingness to send out members to start new groups.
We believe Community Groups are often the first place of pastoral care. They can offer a safe and friendly place of caring and support within the confines of a small group of close friends.
Whilst Bible Studies are done in these groups, it is the building of relationships that is the central focus. Often a person suffering can be in a large congregation, surrounded by many people and yet go unnoticed, feeling uncared for and left out. However, in the environment of a close and loving small group their immediate needs are more easily noticed and met.
